The University of California, Berkeley, offers summer housing for all individuals. Whether attending UC Berkeley Summer Sessions, working as an intern, or participating in a workshop or conference, UC Berkeley Housing offers flexible summer housing options to fit your needs.
- Summer Sessions Housing: All students enrolled in summer courses, whether current, new, or visiting students, are eligible to live on campus.
- Summer Conference Housing: Conferences of all sizes and types are welcome, including educational seminars, leadership and professional conferences, academic youth groups, and much more.
- Summer Experience Housing: Any individual who needs short-term housing for professional development, workshops, internships, or research is eligible.

Summer Housing Agreement
Once you sign your Summer Housing Agreement, you enter into a legally binding contract for the full term of your housing agreement. If you wish to cancel your agreement after signing, you must follow the formal cancellation procedures outlined by the university.
Cancellations are not automatically granted. Any student seeking to cancel must complete the interactive cancellation and appeal process administered by the Summer Housing Department.
