Plans for Spring

UC Berkeley will continue providing on-campus housing to a limited number of students in residence halls and apartments in the spring. All residence hall rooms will be single occupancy while occupancy in apartments for undergraduate, graduate, and student family housing (University Village Albany) will remain the same. Please note that housing plans are subject to the restrictions of local public health authorities.

For general information, see Housing for Academic Year 2020–21 and COVID-19 Response.

Spring Housing Applications

Spring-only housing assignments will be offered on a space-available basis. Availability will depend on the public health situation and the number of students who have housing contracts for the full academic year 2020–21 (both fall and spring semesters).

If you declined housing in fall 2020 and updated your 2020-21 housing application to "Spring Only," you will receive an email requesting information about your continued interest in living on campus in spring semester of 2020. Please note that due to space limitation, continued interest does not guarantee you will receive a housing offer.
