Wi-Fi access is provided throughout the residence halls. Eduroam is the recommended Wi-Fi network for students. To connect to Eduroam, you will first need to create a login key. Find instructions at https://technology.berkeley.edu/wi-fi.
If you require an Ethernet (wired) network port, you can submit a request to activate a port. To be eligible, you need to have a device that only has a wired connection, or its wireless adapter is unable to connect to Enterprise WPA2 networks (e.g. gaming consoles); AND it is compatible with the campus network. You may also request a wired network port if wireless reception in your unit is too weak for your devices to reliably connect over WiFi.

Students living in University-owned housing will receive all telephone service through ORCA.
Our residence halls provide extensive academic services to residents, including tutoring, peer advising, and faculty programs. Our academic centers are fitted with computer workstations, printers, study spaces, and such technology as faxing, copying, and headphones.
