Preference tip: Remember to pick “any room size, any location” as one of your housing preferences to improve your chances of receiving an offer. Undergraduates who qualify for the Housing Guarantee must pick “any room size, any location” to maintain eligibility for the guarantee.
Note for undergraduates: First-year undergraduate students will usually be offered a triple residence hall room. There are very few undergraduate single rooms at UC Berkeley, and they are typically reserved for students with a documented disability need.
