  • Single-occupancy studio apartments in downtown Berkeley, three blocks from campus and near shops, cafes, restaurants, and public transportation
  • Ample common areas including outdoor central courtyard, lounge and three study rooms
  • Secured entry and elevator
  • Some apartments have bay views; some open onto a central courtyard or have deck access.
  • 132 single-occupancy apartments (furnished and unfurnished) with 260- to 305-square feet of living space
  • Annual rental agreement (August 1 to July 31)

Who’s Eligible to Apply?

Single graduate students, with priority for Juris Doctor Level 1 Law students. Please note this location cannot accommodate families; for family housing, please consider University Village.

Apartment Amenities

  • In-unit washer and dryer
  • Both furnished and unfurnished apartments
  • Kitchen • refrigerator, microwave, range, dishwasher,
  • Bathroom • Shower/tub, toilet, sink, overhead cabinet
  • Built-in features in all units: Overhead cabinet in bathroom, cabinets in kitchen, and a built-in desk with bookshelf above desk
  • Furnished apartments include the following furniture:
    • Living Room/Bedroom • extra long twin bed, under-bed drawer units with two drawers, wardrobe with two built-in drawers, a mirror and a large storage compartment above the wardrobe, desk with rolling desk drawer and bookshelf above desk, desk chair
    • Kitchen • small drop leaf table, two stools, cabinets

Building Amenities

Residents of the building have access to the following shared amenities:

  • Utilities included: Internet, water, garbage, and recycling (electricity not included)
  • High-speed WiFi throughout complex
  • Xfinity streaming TV
  • Outdoor central courtyard, lounge and three study rooms
  • Secure indoor bicycle storage
  • Storage spaces and limited parking spaces available for additional fees
  • Optional apartment cleaning service available
