Martinez Commons offers single-gender four-bedroom and five-bedroom apartments with full kitchens, shared bathrooms, and communal living areas.
Martinez Commons offers two-floor townhouse apartments as an option.

Martinez Commons Apartments are part of a modern, sustainably-built complex two blocks south of campus, near cafes, restaurants, and shops. Apartment types

Single-floor apartments and a limited number of two-floor townhouses.
Apartments have four or five bedrooms and one or two bathrooms.
Four-bedroom apartments are the most common option.
All apartments and townhouses are single-gender.

Occupancy

All apartment bedrooms are single-occupancy.
Nearly all townhouse bedrooms are single-occupancy.
Apartments and townhouses are typically shared by four to five people.
General note: There are very few single rooms for undergraduates at UC Berkeley, and they are typically reserved for students with a documented disability need.
